What you can save from Apple Podcasts

Episodes as MP3 or M4A, in the publisher's quality
The latest episodes of a show, from the show link
Episodes up to 3 hours on the website, longer in the extension

How to get the link

Open the episode, press the three dots, then "Copy Link". Episode links contain i= and a number.
Subscriber-only episodes play only in the Podcasts app and cannot be saved.

About this Apple Podcasts downloader

Apple Podcasts pages point at the publisher's own audio file, so an episode link is enough to get the file without the Podcasts app. Paste the address of an episode (podcasts.apple.com, the show id and i= followed by the episode id). Show links list the latest episodes. The audio is saved in the format the publisher serves, MP3 for most shows, or converted to MP3. Long episodes are fine: the website handles up to three hours, the extension has no limit. Apple Podcasts subscriptions with bonus episodes are not available.

Three moves, one file

Copy the link

Open the Apple Podcasts video or post and copy its address.

Paste it up top

Press Download. We find the video and the pictures on that page.

Pick a quality

MP4 or MP3, a size, Download. The file lands in your Downloads folder.

One click instead of paste

The free Chrome extension finds the video on any Apple Podcasts page by itself: open the page, click the icon, press Download. No hourly limit, no copying links, and it works on pages that refuse servers.
